The Homer Athletic Club has reserved the Fieldhouse/LTHS on March 29th from 12:00-2:00 to host a player clinic and practice for Homer Baseball Buddies-a baseball team for children with disabilities. There are no age or gender restrictions and you do not need to live in Homer to participate. Siblings are encouraged to help out or participate in these games. Online registration will be available shortly. A fee has not yet been assessed but will most likely not be more than the cost of a t-shirt. CD Students helped Ms. De Biasio create this month's board and it truly was a CD team effort! Great job everyone, it looks great! ![]() The next scheduled movie will be on Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 am at Marcus Theater in Orland Park. The movie is Cinderella with a short 7 minute film before Cinderella called Frozen Fever. It is the same characters from the movie Frozen, that should start promptly at 10:00 am. We do have a sponsor for this movie - Irene and Tom Costello from the Twin Hearts Autism Foundation. Their website is www.twinhearts.org. They will be paying for everyone's ticket for Cinderella! Please make sure you look for Irene and thank her for their generosity. She will be there at 9:30. When you walk in you do not have to go to the ticket counter, go directly to the person who rips the tickets and tell them you are there for the special needs movie. ![]() The Andrew CD Program will be taking a community outing field trip to CVS on March 13. This outing is to help CD students understand the rules and expectations on the bus. This is also a great way for students to learn how to budget and use their money to purchase things they need at a store. Important life skills such as these are a major focus in the CD Program
