This month our students learned about space. We spent time studying the stars and how the planets move in the Milky Way galaxy. The Space Unit concluded with making a "Star Sensory Bag" that students will keep in their sensory bin at school.

This month our students learned about space. We spent time studying the stars and how the planets move in the Milky Way galaxy. The Space Unit concluded with making a "Star Sensory Bag" that students will keep in their sensory bin at school. During ELA/Reading class, Braun 6 is working on core words! This week the core word of the week is OPEN! We have been watching videos, practicing opening/closing items, reading books about open, and writing sentences with open in it. Today Ms. A had the students in person spell the word open with a St. Patrick themed sensory discovery activity, Students spelled out the word, but then Ms. A hid their word in various sensory discovery items. Oh No! Tricky, Ms. A. Students had to find each letter and spell it out again!
That Sam I am, that Sam I am....we do not like green eggs and ham!!!!! Happy birthday Dr Seuss! We celebrated by reading some of our favorite Dr Seuss books and having a spirit week dedicated to all things wacky and Dr Seuss! |
