Kerkstra Room 7 paired up with Room 22 and headed to Navy Pier for a day at the Chicago Children's Museum. Our day started off in the Construction Zone where we were able to use real nuts, bolts, and screws to build anything our hearts desired. Then we headed to the Dinosaur Dig where we learned about fossils and that we may have some aspiring archaeologists on our hands! After dirt digging tired us out, we headed over to Kid's Town. Here we explored different occupations such as: grocer, chef, mechanic, mailman, and bus driver! We ended our museum time in Water Works, where we had a blast experimenting with water...and "accidently" soaking our teachers in the process ;). In typical Room 7 fashion, we ended our outing with a tasty lunch and a long bus ride nap. Comments are closed.
