Date: April 27, 2015 (Monday)
Time: 6: 00- 7:30 P.M.
Session 1 Part 1 workshop combines research, practical experiences, helpful strategies and laughter to examine various influences on child behavior and self-regulation and socialization. This includes visual supports and target practice.
Session 2 Part 2 will further address our children’s challenging behaviors, why they do what they do, and we can do about it. Specifically, how we can teach our kids about their emotions and behavior using positive behavior supports to foster self-regulation, and social and emotional growth. Last but not least: Parent Power-everyone sharing responsibility.
Child care will be provided by the Coop and the location will be in our classroom. We will need a response for number of adults and number of children so we can plan and have an adequate number of adults to provide supervision. CD professional support will be available during these hours.
If you have any questions or comments for Sheila prior to attending this workshop, please take a minute to write it down. For example, This is what I am hoping to learn…….. This is a problem or concern we are addressing in our home…. Your questions or comments will give Sheila an opportunity to address some specific behaviors prior to your arrival.
