| Kerkstra Room 7 has been loving our science unit this month. September has been spent learning all about SEASONS & WEATHER and today we got out of the classroom to experience the power of "Mr. Sun" first hand. Our lesson was about differences between sun and shade and the effects of direct sunlight. Before our experiment everyone shared their "smart guess" or hypotheses, then we headed outside to face the heat! We placed an ice cube in two different cups and placed one cup in direct sunlight and the other cup in a shaded spot. After about 10 minutes we observed the changes and went back to the classroom to document our scientific findings! | |
