Thank you to all the parents who came out for Andrew H.S.'s Back To School Night! It was a fast paced evening full of classroom content, language and learning strategies, and business items to remember.
Here are some highlights:
*Attendance- Please, call the Andrew HS Attendance Office any time your son/daughter will be absent/late arrival/early dismissal at 708-342-5895. Also, email/call the CD Program & finally your bus company.
* Lunch Money- Students may bring their lunch, money to buy lunch, and parents have the option of putting money on their son/daughter's student ID to be used as a school debit card. See the Resources Tab for the HS Lunch Money Letter to explain in more detail.
*Make a consistent at home routine to check school bags, binders, and most importantly planners or HW charts. HW charts need to be signed by parents on a nightly basis.
*Stay Tuned for information about our first Parent Group Meeting & for information about our CD Co-Curricular Activity.
*Certified CD Staff encouraged parents to use visual checklists and/or chore lists at home to support more independence.
