Mr. Bishop & Mrs. GW's English Class

This quarter, the 5th hour English class taught by Mr. Bishop and Mrs. Granato-Wagner will be reading the non fictional accounts of Holocaust survivors.  The class has had many emotionally driven discussions, as the stories are difficult to read due to the tragic nature of the Holocaust.  Mrs. Kellermann (Social Worker) came into a 5th hour class period to talk with the students about the stories that we are reading and how they felt about the content.  It was a great class discussion.  Students were reminded that she is available if they need to talk more regarding the literature being read.  The class has read 3 stories and will continue in the book until it is completed.  After, the class will watch the movie, "Anne Frank" to conclude the unit.
