The CD Program contributed to the Thanksgiving food drive that Braun Educational Center, the therapeutic school within the co-op, has been conducting for several years. The students at CD Andrew collected a total of 258 non-perishable food items, decorated over 20 boxes that the food was delivered to the families in, and 4 students accompanied Mrs. Nagy to deliver all the food they collected to Braun. The other CD Programs were able to collect a total of 29 non-perishable items, for a grand total of 287 items! All of the food was organized into boxes and then delivered to 12 families within the co-op right before the Thanksgiving holiday! It was wonderful to see students learning the value of service, and to see the different co-op programs coming together for a common good! Comments are closed.
