Ms. Castaneda received her Bachelor's from Indiana University-Bloomington in Speech Pathology with a minor in Psychology and her Master's in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Michigan State University. She has had clinical experience at a middle school, an adult transition program, early intervention with toddlers, a traumatic brain injury center, and a skilled nursing facility. Her interests have been centered around educational learning and peer interactions through the facilitation of speech, language, cognition, and social communication. Aside from work, she enjoys hiking, cooking new meals, attending music shows, and lounging around with my cat.
If your son/daughter has Ms. Castaneda as their SLP, on their IEP team, you will receive an email message from her. If your son/daughter does not have Ms. Castaneda, then the SLP on the IEP team is Mrs. Granato-Wagner. Please, feel free to email your case manager, if you are unsure who is on your IEP team.
Ms. Castaneda wants to express the following:
"I am excited to have the opportunity to work with your child and be a part of their small team throughout the rest of the school year. I hope to explore various modes of teaching and related services to fully engage my students and demonstrate progress with their speech, language, and social communication goals."
