C11 had a great time visiting Konow's Corn Maze with all our CD Program friends on Tuesday as part of our Fall Into PBIS kickoff! Our students practiced being safe, responsible, and respectful while feeding animals, playing on the big blow-up pillow, riding on the hay rack, and going through the corn maze.

The entire CD Program went on a community outing trip to Konows Corn Maze in Homer Glen! Students were able to interact with their fellow CD peers and enjoy a hay ride, meeting many types of farm animals, exploring a hay maze, jumping on giant trampolines, feeding goats and jumping in giant pools of corn! What an adventure! The students in Ms.Regan and Ms.LaPrairie's middle school class have started off the year enjoying our new typing curriculum. This year students will be exposed to typing instruction through the Keyboarding Without Tears curriculum! This addition to our curriculum is teaching our students not only typing and computer skills, but responsibility. Students are responsible for maintaining their Chromebooks by logging in daily and making sure their Chromebook is plugged in and ready for the next day. Our students are doing a wonderful job being responsible and enjoying the use of technology in the classroom!
