
- We were busy in C11, making ice cream! Our culinary sciences project showed us how salt lowers the freezing point of water, which allows it to get colder than ice. The super-cold water plus ice caused our ice cream base to freeze quickly so that we could enjoy the results of our experiment immediately! Of course, Mrs. Dunneback sang the "Shake Your Ice Cream" song as we watched the chemical changes taking place before our eyes!
