It's Cool to be Kind!

This month we have been focusing on the concept of being kind. We learned about Martin Luther King Jr. and other Civil Rights Era heroes who chose to be kind when others were being mean. We are thankful to these great leaders as well as the leaders who fought for the inclusion of individuals with varying abilities in the general education setting. Here are some pictures of our class working and playing with our general education friends in Advisory class and at the after-school Best Buddies program. We are thankful for all the leaders who fought for equal rights for all Americans!
